Contra Costa Small Business Development Center
The Small Business Development Center is currently the largest management and technical assistance program serving the small business sector in the United States. The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) administers the overall program while implementation of the program rests with each SBDC State Director and the participating organizations within the state.
The California Small Business Development Center program began operating in 1989 and the California SBDCs make up 31 of
the 1000 SBDCs throughout the nation. SBDCs are located in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Guam.
The mission of the Contra Costa Small Business Development Center, (CCSBDC) is to encourage and support the growth and success of small businesses in Contra Costa County by providing professional consulting services and a wide variety of educational programs. Their services are made possible by funding from the U.S. Small Business Administration, the California Technology, Trade and Commerce Agency and grants from Contra Costa County, the City of Antioch and the City of Pittsburg. Services are available to all residents of Contra Costa County without discrimination.
